Privacy Policy

Alpha Business Digital ("Company", "we", "us", "our") operates the website https://alphabusinessdigital.com and provides digital marketing, advertising, website development, and client acquisition services ("Services"), including to custom home builders, renovation contractors, and other clients ("Clients"), and processes data on behalf of Clients relating to homeowners and prospective customers who interact with Client campaigns, landing pages, and forms ("End Users").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal data. It is designed to comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and applicable Indian law. By using our website or Services, or by submitting your information through any form, landing page, or campaign operated by us or on behalf of our Clients, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

This Policy applies to:

  • Visitors to our website and opt-in pages.
  • Prospective and existing Clients who engage our agency services.
  • End Users (homeowners and prospective customers) who submit information through landing pages, forms, ads, or funnels that we build, manage, or operate on behalf of our Clients.

Where we process End User data on behalf of a Client, we typically act as a Data Processor / Data Fiduciary's service provider, and the Client (e.g., the home builder or contractor) remains responsible for the underlying lawful basis of collecting that data from their own customers. We require Clients to obtain appropriate consent from End Users before data is collected through any system we operate for them.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Name, phone number, email address, and location.
  • Project details such as project type, budget range, and timeline (for End Users submitting inquiries to construction/renovation Clients).
  • Business information, billing details, and communications, when you engage us as a Client.
  • Information submitted via contact forms, opt-in pages, WhatsApp, strategy session bookings, or email.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device information, and operating system.
  • Pages visited, time spent on site, referral source, and clickstream data.
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7).
  • Advertising identifiers from platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads when you interact with our or our Clients' ad campaigns.

2.3 Information From Third Parties

  • Data passed to us by advertising platforms (Meta, Google) in connection with lead generation campaigns.
  • Data received via integrated tools including CRM, WhatsApp Business API providers, email service providers, and scheduling tools.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal data for the following purposes:

  • To respond to inquiries and deliver requested information, including booking and conducting free strategy sessions.
  • To deliver, operate, and improve our Services for Clients, including lead generation, qualification, and routing to the correct Client.
  • To send transactional communications via WhatsApp, email, or SMS, such as inquiry confirmations and follow-ups, on behalf of Clients.
  • To send marketing communications about our own Services, where you have consented or where permitted by law, and which you may opt out of at any time.
  • To process payments and maintain billing records for Clients who purchase our Services.
  • To analyze website and campaign performance, including reporting to Clients on lead volume, cost-per-lead, and conversion metrics.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Under the DPDP Act, we process personal data on the basis of:

  • Consent — obtained at the point of data collection (e.g., form submission, opt-in checkbox, WhatsApp opt-in).
  • Legitimate use — including for responding to a request made by the individual, or for purposes related to performing a contract.
  • Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with applicable law. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time, as described in Section 9.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal data. We may share information with:

  • Our Clients, when you (as an End User) submit an inquiry intended for that Client's business — this is the core function of our lead generation Services.
  • Service providers and sub-processors who support our operations, including CRM providers (e.g., Zoho), automation platforms (e.g., Pabbly Connect), WhatsApp Business API providers (e.g., Wati/Interakt), email service providers (e.g., Brevo), scheduling tools (e.g., Cal.com), reporting tools (e.g., Google Looker Studio), payment processors (e.g., Razorpay, PayPal), and website/hosting infrastructure (e.g., WordPress/Funnelkit).
  • Advertising platforms (Meta, Google), strictly for the purposes of running and measuring ad campaigns.
  • Government authorities or law enforcement, where required by applicable law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.
  • A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, subject to equivalent privacy protections.

All third-party service providers are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations consistent with this Policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, including:

  • Lead and inquiry data: retained for the duration of the Client relationship and a reasonable period thereafter for reporting and legal purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
  • Client business and billing records: retained as required under applicable tax, accounting, and contract law (generally up to 8 years).
  • Marketing consent records: retained until consent is withdrawn, plus a reasonable period to evidence compliance.

You may request earlier deletion, subject to Section 9 and any legal retention obligations we must comply with.

7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website and the funnels/landing pages we operate use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Enable core site functionality.
  • Measure advertising performance (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Tag).
  • Understand visitor behaviour for optimization purposes.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality and our ability to attribute leads accurately, which may impact reporting accuracy for Clients.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including access controls, encrypted transmission where supported by our tools, and restricted internal access on a need-to-know basis. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting personal data, we will notify affected individuals and relevant authorities as required under the DPDP Act.

9. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Withdraw consent to processing at any time (this will not affect the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal).
  • Request erasure of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
  • Nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity, as provided under the DPDP Act.
  • Lodge a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.

To exercise any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer at connect@alphabusinessdigital.com or +91 99036 94504. We will respond within the timeframe prescribed by applicable law.

10. Children's Data

Our Services are intended for businesses and adult individuals (18 years and above). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor without appropriate consent, we will delete it promptly.

11. International Data Transfers

Our Services and the third-party tools we use may store or process data outside India. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure such transfers comply with the DPDP Act and other applicable cross-border data transfer requirements.

12. Third-Party Links and Platforms

Our website and campaigns may contain links to third-party websites or platforms (such as Meta, Google, or Client websites). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies independently.

  • Ensuring their own use of leads and End User data complies with applicable law.
  • Honouring End User requests relating to their data that are directed to the Client.
  • Providing accurate business information used in automated communications (e.g., WhatsApp templates) sent to End Users.

14. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, Services, or legal requirements. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of our website or Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
